The strange voice is a shock that makes Eddie's blood run cold. After a few seconds of panicked horror, though, Eddie has the presence of mind to switch on all the trackers he's worked into the Nightwing suit and the motorcycle.

(It may be redundant, putting trackers in each of the boots and the mask itself, but as someone who carried more than one item into battle he knows it can be easy to lose components.)

He turns up the volume for the communicator and starts stripping down and pulling on the new fabric bodysuit to be worn under the power armor. It's all one piece, instead of two like before (the embarrassment at Titans Tower in San Francisco still lingers). Eddie is trying to get ready as quietly as possible, so he doesn't miss any details.
